Frederick Douglass Word Illustration Portrait

I consider Frederick Douglass a true hero for African Americans. As an abolitionist, his work played a prominent role in the creation of the emancipation proclamation that allowed African slaves to become free citizens of the United States of America. I created this artwork as a way to highlight his philosophy and his beliefs. His own words make up the image of his figure.
